Casa Princess Arminda exceeded all expectations during my Christmas stay. Nestled behind the Iglesia Catedral Sta María de Betancuria, this charming hotel perfectly blends traditional Canarian architecture with modern comforts. The renovated house's Canarian patios offer a serene setting to unwind after exploring the nearby beaches, such as Pozo Negro and Ajuy. The warm and welcoming hosts, Juan and his wife, ensured our every need was met, creating a home away from home atmosphere. The rustic yet beautifully renovated rooms provided a cozy retreat, each with a private bathroom featuring all necessary amenities. I particularly enjoyed the unique layout of my room, split over two floors with a small double bed upstairs and a single bed downstairs - a perfect setup for a family or close friends traveling together. In the evenings, we gathered in the on-site bar and restaurant, indulging in delicious homemade meals prepared by the hosts.One highlight of our stay was the access to hiking and biking trails in the surrounding area, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the breathtaking natural beauty of Fuerteventura. The seasonal outdoor pool provided a refreshing oasis to relax and unwind under the sunny skies.Despite the rural location, Casa Princess Arminda is conveniently located within a short drive to Caleta De Fuste and the Puerto del Rosario ferry port, offering easy access to nearby attractions.
